Empowering clients to share their unique voice.
Hi, I’m Jennie Grenelle. I am a lifelong actor and proud introvert, who loves helping people speak with ease and impact.
A playful, somatic approach to public speaking and communication
Everyone can be a compelling communicator. But for many of us, negative past experiences and a feeling of being judged can make public speaking feel terrifying. I approach sessions with playfulness and curiosity, so that you can rebuild confidence in your natural ability to move a crowd. I love watching clients’ eyes brighten as their shoulders soften and their voices ring out. The joy of free communication is your birthright, and you’re closer to it than you might think!
My Values
-
Compassion
There’s nothing more important to me than creating a space where clients know they are unconditionally accepted and cared about.
-
Connection
I believe that authentic connection is a healing and powerful force that can break through barriers - and it’s available to everyone.
-
Curiosity
I’ve seen how approaching work with a “beginner’s mind” helps us discover new places in ourselves.
My story
I love to meet new people and share my ideas in front of a crowd - but it wasn’t always that way. My sophomore year of high school, I ate my lunch in a bathroom stall so no one would notice that I didn’t have a group to sit with. In my early twenties, I auditioned for a Broadway musical while having laryngitis, because I was afraid to ask to reschedule the appointment.
I know what it feels like to silence myself. To miss out on work opportunities, friendships, and romantic relationships out of fear of speaking up.
I have had tremendous mentors - acting teachers, therapists, and coaches - who helped me to uncover my inner voice and trust that it matters. Who gave me tools to stay in my body and let my voice flow with ease and assurance. Who empowered me to speak directly about what I believe in. Now I get to pass that empowerment on to others.
Communication is complex and fascinating. I am not a master with all of the answers. But I do know that everyone deserves to be heard. That sharing your voice is a learnable skill. That there are concrete ways to break through personal blocks. That a captivating speaker is already inside of you, and our work is to set them free.
