Communicate With Impact

Public Speaking Training  in Vancouver

Feeling anxious about an upcoming speech, interview, or presentation? Whatever the occasion, my public speaking training Vancouver or via Zoom can help. We’ll use playful yet practical exercises and embodiment techniques to strengthen your voice, free your movement, and calm your nerves — helping you communicate with confidence and joy.

Your words are only a small part of what people take in when you speak

Your breath, posture, voice, and body language also have a huge impact on how you’re received. While many public speaking programs focus solely on the ‘what’ — such as asking you to “speak more loudly” — my lifelong training as an actor allows me to go deeper and offer the game-changing ‘how’.

Using a unique somatic approach, we’ll focus on practical tools for calming your nervous system and finding safety in your body while speaking — creating a positive imprint you can return to when performing before a crowd. This is how you find sustainable confidence, ease and freedom in communication.

Public speaking training for leaders, academics and anyone preparing for a high-stakes speaking event

Anyone can learn to be a compelling communicator — we just need to remove the roadblocks that get in your way. A key part of my approach during public speaking training Vancouver or via Zoom is asking questions: ‘How did that feel? What physical sensations did you experience?’

This helps you develop your awareness and ultimately become your own coach. You’ll know what you need to do to stay grounded and present under pressure. You’ll also be empowered to develop your unique style and perspective  — so that you can tell engaging stories, present convincing arguments, and speak from the heart with clarity and confidence.

This is for you if:

You feel nervous or shy speaking in group meetings, on stage, or in social settings.

You want to sound clear and confident in pitches, panels, and presentations.

You’re preparing for a school or job interview, promotion, academic presentation, investor pitch or conference talk.

You need help writing and delivering a wedding speech, eulogy, or award acceptance speech.

You struggle to lead meetings, engage audiences, or connect authentically.

You want to feel at ease in high-stakes conversations — both professional and personal (including dating!).
